- Check your wireless router – if it is working properly and if it is plugged in correctly

Repair the wireless encryption to obtain the support of a stronger encryption, at better speeds. In the case where your encryption is WPA2-PSK with AES then AES is definitely a strong encryption and supports802.11n which is a high speed.
At the same time, if you are using a Roku streaming stick, then you might be able to connect to the Wi-Fi but the Roku apps will fail to recognize a connection. Try using AES/TKIP to support both encryptions; you will still face a problem. Instead, disable the AES and use only TKIP. This encryption is weak and limits the Wi-Fi speed to 802.11g at 54Mbps but will allow the apps to connect to the streaming service.
